Our Commitment

Waddy, Inc. ("Waddy," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • ARIA labels and roles for interactive elements
  • Keyboard-navigable interface with visible focus indicators
  • Skip-to-content links for screen reader users
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the site
  • Alt text for meaningful images
  • Responsive design that supports text resizing up to 200%
  • No content that flashes more than 3 times per second

How We Test

Every public page of this website is checked against WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA automatically, as part of our build. Each page is tested in both the light and dark themes and at desktop and mobile widths, since a barrier can exist in one and not the other. Alongside the automated rule checks we verify keyboard operation directly: that the skip link works, that navigation menus open, close and can be tabbed through without a mouse, that focus is always visible, and that the animation on our home page can be paused.

A build that introduces a Level A or AA failure does not ship. Automated testing cannot catch everything, so it supplements rather than replaces human review.

Known Limitations

While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Automated checks catch a meaningful share of barriers but not all of them — judgements about clear language, meaningful alternative text, and logical reading order still need people. The testing described above covers this website; the Waddy application is assessed separately and on its own schedule.

We are actively working to identify and resolve any remaining barriers. If you encounter an accessibility issue, please let us know — a specific report is the fastest route to a fix.
